Ralph Patrick Osei, the Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), had his ballot rejected at the super delegates conference.
After openly revealing who he voted for, the ballot was rejected.
The NPP youth leader designed a thump for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
The party has established rules prohibiting the exhibition and filming of ballots.
As a result, displaying his ballot constituted a violation of the regulations.
Some supporters of Alan Kyerematen called the youth organizer’s actions unjustified and irresponsible.
To them, rejecting the ballot was the greatest option.
They also branded him as arrogant, divisive, and deserving of his fate.
