President Akufo-Addo has announced that his government will soon launch a Performance Tracker as part of efforts to help Ghanaians track the performance and achievements of his government.
He explained that the tracker is a tool aimed at ensuring transparency and accountability in the execution of infrastructure projects across the country.
He disclosed this while presenting a statement on the State of the Nations Address in Parliament on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
He said the tracker will be launched in March this year.
The tracker will help address longstanding concerns about the accuracy and reliability of project presentations, particularly the use of artist’s impressions to depict outcomes, he added.
The President emphasized the importance of maintaining standards and delivering tangible results to the people.
The Performance Tracker is a crucial tool for showcasing the progress and impact of infrastructure projects, thereby fostering trust and confidence among citizens.
