Some residents in Kasoa have expressed deep frustration and disappointment at the ongoing power crisis in the country.
The residents, among other things, things, lamented that the frequent power outages, or “dumsor,” have affected businesses.
Speaking to Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5 FM, the residents said the ongoing situation has caused them a lot, including loss of productivity.
Businesses have also claimed that it has caused them revenue losses, escalating operational costs, and damage to electronic devices.
In a shocking revelation, some of them claimed that the ongoing power crisis hadhad affected their ability to have sex.
Those who spoke to the news team said they are unable to have sex with their wives and husbands.
“The situation is terrible. It is affecting your sexual life. As I speak to you, I cannot function properly. I amam unable to have sex with my wife. This is a seriousa seriousmatter that matter that I am referring to. I am not the one affected by this, one of them said.
Another said,said, “As a station, I know you have been affected by the situation. Are you saying you don’t buy fuel to power your generators? We are facing a serious crisis. We have demanded a timetable, and yet they don’t want to release the timetable.”.
One other resident slammed the Energy Minister, saying, “You cannot manage the energy crisis yet you want to be the Vice President. Ghanaians have asked you to release a timetable, but you have refused to do that. The situation is not the best. It is affecting our well-being, our businesses, and other activities.”.
“They told us the crisis would be brief, but it has lasted far too long, wrecking havoc on businesses. It has damaged our electronic devices. The announced outages are not ideal. My refrigerators and other appliances are ruined.
