The matron and bursar of the Somé SHS in Agbozume, Ketu South Municipality, have been detained.
The two were arrested for allegedly taking food items intended for students in the boarding house.
According to information available, the matron and bursar have been engaged in these illicit operations for many years.
The items they allegedly stole include tin tomatoes, mackerel, detergents, and pesticide spray.
Some of the things were discovered in the matron’s luggage and in the bursar’s vehicle.
Ibrahim Ayuba, an assembly member for the Logove Electoral Area, oversaw the arrest of the two perpetrators after the items were intercepted
They are currently in police custody and collaborating with the investigation.
