The incumbent Member of Parliament for Mpohor, John Kobina Abbam Aboah Sanie, has lost his seat to Bentil Godfred Henry of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The NDC’s candidate secured 11,680 votes to win the elections in the constituency.
Sanie, representing the New Patriotic Party (NPP), garnered 8,299 votes.
Meanwhile, Andrew Kofi Egyapa Mercer, the incumbent Member of Parliament for Sekondi, has also lost his seat.
He was defeated by Blay Nyameke Armah of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Egyapa Mercer, representing the New Patriotic Party (NPP), polled 11,084 votes, representing 42.94% of the total valid votes.
Mr. Blay Nyameke Armah got 14,558 votes, representing 56.40%.
Out of the 25,813 votes cast, 171 ballots were rejected.
