President Akufo-Addo has congratulated former President John Dramani Mahama for emerging victorious in the presidential election organised on December 7, 2024.
A statement issued by Director of Communications Eugene Arhin said that following the Electoral Commission’s declaration of John Dramani Mahama as elected president, the president has called to congratulate him.
According to the statement, the president has expressed his commitment to ensuring a seamless transfer of power on January 7, 2025.
The President also commended the EC for organising a successful election that reflects the enduring strength of Ghana’s democracy.
