The Electoral Commission (EC) has suspended all processes for resolving nine unresolved parliamentary disputes across the country until further notice.
On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, the electoral body communicated this directive to representatives from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The representatives had arrived at the regional office to continue the collation of the disputed results, but they were informed that the process had been suspended.
However, the representatives rejected the directive, raising concerns about the process’s fairness and transparency.
