The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has officially named former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta as a suspect in four high-profile corruption cases.
According to the OSP, these cases involve the National Cathedral project, Strategic Mobilisation Limited (SML), and two other cases.
During a press briefing on Wednesday, February 12, Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng revealed that Ofori-Atta is now wanted.
He has therefore requested that he travel to Ghana immediately to face questioning.
The OSP warned that his office will use any means necessary to get him to return to the country.
He also denied reports that OSP officials had raided Ofori-Atta’s home on Tuesday, February 11.
“Consequently, the OSP declares Ken Nana Yaw Ofori-Atta a wanted person. He is a fugitive from the law,” Agyebeng announced.
