Kwesi Prince, the son of an Odikro at Atebubu in the Bono East region, has been arrested for allegedly stealing a goat.
The incident has shocked his father, who has refused to eat, expressing disappointment in his son.
Reporting the incident on Nyankon Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, Brother Kwame said the suspect was arrested by a group of young vigilantes.
According to him, residents in the area had complained of the stealing of goats in the area for two years.
To address the situation, the group of vigilantes was formed to help apprehend those behind the stealing.
Through their efforts, Kwesi Prince was apprehended stealing a goat and handed over to the police.
The reporter said it was not only goats that were stolen but other valuables as well.
He, Kwesi Prince, was arrested at dawn for allegedly stealing the goat.
He was first tied to a pole, and when day broke, he was made to carry the goat and paraded through the community.
Brother Kwame added that the Odikro is still in shock, saying it was expected that other individuals would be stolen and brought before him to handle the matter, but for his son to do that, he was not only shocked but disappointed.
