Self-acclaimed evangelist Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has been convicted by the Circuit Court in Accra.
The court found her guilty of engaging in charlatanic advertisement and defrauding by false pretence.
The charges stemmed from a televised advertisement aired in 2022, in which she claimed to possess the power to double money for members of the public, leading several individuals to part with significant sums of money.
In accordance with sentencing guidelines, Nana Agradaa has been taken to the hospital for a pregnancy test prior to sentencing by the Judge.
