A 25-year-old man, Kwabina Gyasi, suffered multiple cutlass injuries following an alleged assault by a farmer, Mr. Cudjoe, in Benso, Western Region.
Details emerging indicate that Kwabina, a migrant to the area seeking economic opportunities, was allegedly found defecating on Mr. Cudjoe’s cocoa farm.
The farmer confronted him, and the situation escalated rapidly.
In a fit of rage, Mr. Cudjoe allegedly used a cutlass to inflict several severe wounds on the young man.
The victim was later taken to the Benso Government Hospital, where he received treatment and was subsequently discharged. Despite the severity of the attack, Mr. Cudjoe remains at large.
