The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has launched an investigation into the assault on a Joy News journalist and an eyewitness during a demolition exercise on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.
According to GAF, the probe is in line with the directive issued by President John Dramani Mahama in connection with the incident.
GAF assured the public that investigations into the incident would be thorough and those found culpable would be dealt with accordingly.
The statement signed by Captain VA Arhin, Acting Director General of Public Relations, said GAF remains professional and will do everything possible to maintain its known high standards.
