Former Black Stars winger Laryea Kingston has described his journey into coaching as a divine calling which goes beyond personal ambition.
According to the ex-footballer, his coaching is a mission inspired by God, driven by a desire to give back to the game that shaped his life and career.
“I never dreamt of being a coach when playing football because it takes you away from your family, but I had a divine calling one night that I am bound to complete my unfinished business in the game. My wife didn’t support it, but I had to answer the calling.”
“When God gives you knowledge and experience, you must share it,” he added.
Laryea Kingston featured for Accra Hearts of Oak and Accra Great Olympics, won 42 caps, and played in two Africa Cup of Nations (2006 and 2008) for Ghana.
Laryea Kingston spent thirteen years abroad plying his international career in Russia, Scotland, the Netherlands, Israel, and Saudi Arabia.
