The Unit Committee Chairman for the area, Kwadwo Amankwa, who confirmed the news, indicated that the injured suspect had left home on Friday night but returned in the early hours of Saturday with his hand missing.

“I saw the young man a few days earlier with both hands intact, but on Friday morning, I met him with his right hand severed. He mentioned the ginger farmer as the one responsible for the act,” he stated.

He further stated that the suspect had reportedly visited multiple ginger farms in the area prior to the incident.

Following this, the police were notified, resulting in the farmer’s arrest. The individual is currently in custody and cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
