“I also shared with them government efforts towards creating employment opportunities for our youth, including the recruitment into the security services and the recruitment into the nursing and teaching professions,” he stated.

He noted that the Eid gathering offered an opportunity to call for “peace, unity, and reconciliation” among his constituents, stressing the importance of social cohesion in driving development.

Dr Apaak further indicated that he outlined a number of government policies and interventions aimed at improving livelihoods in the area. These include the 24-hour market initiative, the establishment of farmers’ service centres, the extension of electricity to communities, and road construction projects.

“I also shared with them government policies including the 24-hour market, the farmers’ service centre, the extension of electricity to communities, the construction of our main road and the feeder roads, the construction of educational facilities, and the supply of furniture,” he said.

According to him, these initiatives are designed to address key developmental needs while improving access to essential services across communities.

He also appealed to constituents to support the government and remain committed to its vision.

“I asked for prayers for John Dramani Mahama and the NDC. I asked them to keep faith with the NDC as we work to meet their needs,” he added.

Dr Apaak emphasised that continued collaboration between the government and citizens would be crucial in achieving sustainable progress and delivering on promises made to the people.
