Ntim Fordjour denies gay affair allegations as Sam George warns Headucator of prosecution under new Bill

Under the proposed Human Sexual Rights and Family Values Bill, 2025, social commentator Headucator could face prosecution for allegedly presenting himself as a member of the LGBT community and promoting such conduct.

During a clause-by-clause consideration of the bill at a stakeholder engagement, the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations and MP for Ningo-Prampram, Samuel Nartey George, suggested that Headucator’s public claims would fall under the remit of the law.

Referring to the commentator’s assertions regarding a high-profile figure, Samuel Nartey George questioned the immunity of such individuals.

“He now claims that he’s having sexual intercourse with Hon. Ntim Fordjour and that Hon. Ntim Fordjour is his gay lover. That person is making such claims. Why are we saying that this individual is not prosecutable?” he questioned.

These remarks follow a firm denial from the Member of Parliament for Assin South, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, who is one of the sponsors of the bill. Rev. Ntim Fordjour has rejected allegations of a sexual relationship with transgender musician Angel Maxine, whose name has surfaced in connection with the controversy.

The MP addressed the claims directly, stating that his personal and religious convictions remain at odds with the allegations.

“Maxine, in her old or present life, contrary to her claim that she has had intercourse with me, I have never engaged in any such act,” Rev. Ntim Fordjour stated.

He further clarified his stance by adding that his beliefs align with what he described as relations ordained “between Adam and Eve.”

The exchange occurred as Samuel Nartey George indicated that individuals who publicly identify as part of the LGBT community could face legal consequences if the bill is passed into law.

The deliberations highlight the intensifying legal and personal tensions surrounding the legislation as it moves through the stakeholder engagement process.
