A combined team of local police officers and personnel from the Regional Police Intelligence Directorate dispatched to the scene. Preliminary investigations revealed that a dispute broke out at the site around 11:45 AM, during which an individual identified as Alfred Sadick, alias “Strongman,” allegedly shot Mensah in the chest.

The six suspects currently detained and assisting with ongoing investigations consist of three Ghanaian nationals—Hamza Abubakar, 36; Hamidu Seidu, 42; and Francis Biewose, 26—and three Chinese nationals—Bai Yaozheng, 36; Liu Gang, 43; and Wen Xien Wen, 45.

The suspected shooter, Alfred Sadick, fled the scene and remains at large. Police operations are actively underway to track him down, while the body of the deceased has been transferred to the Axim Government Hospital mortuary for preservation and an autopsy.
