A woman has died and two children remain trapped after a three-storey building collapsed at Adenta New Site in the Greater Accra Region on Wednesday.
Emergency services, spearheaded by the Ghana Police Service and the Ghana National Fire Service, are executing a rescue operation at the scene.
One survivor has already been extracted from the wreckage and is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital.
First responders are systematically clearing the debris to locate the trapped children and ensure no other casualties remain beneath the rubble.
While recovery efforts continue, authorities have yet to establish the cause of the structural failure, and a full assessment of the property damage is underway.
