Nana Bonsu, a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has urged President John Dramani Mahama to immediately remove all Chief Executives who worked under former President Akufo-Addo and are still in office.

He said these individuals don’t deserve to be occupying their positions under this administration.

Appearing on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, Nana Bonsu asserted that these individuals contributed to the defeat of the NPP, and they must be relieved of their post so they will go home and taste opposition.

He told host Kwabena Agyapong that there are some Chief Executives of the NPP whoa re still at post and President Mahama should waste no time in removing them.

“What are those CEOs still waiting for at post? President Mahama must, with an immediate effect, sack them from office. They contributed to the defeat of the NPP. They must be sacked so they will go home and taste how hot opposition is. The party has lost power, and so they don’t deserve to still be there. I am appealing to Mahama to sack them.

He should sack them all. He should not listen to those lobbying for positions. He should not allow anyone to lobby for him to keep them. They are pretending to love the NDC. He should sack them. They don’t deserve to be kept in position. The party has lost and all the NPP officials who are still at post must be sacked so they will go home and taste how hot opposition is.”

He also appealed to the president to deal with all those who have been cited for corruption and corruption-related activities.

“I would also appeal to him to investigate all those who are involved or cited for corruption and corruption-related activities. I would also ask that while investigating them, he should investigate and prosecute them. But while investigating them, they should do so in accordance with the law. Anyone who has misappropriated state resources must be investigated. They should not be let off the hook. President Mahama must investigate and prosecute them so the money they took would be retrieved. Those who also deserve to be imprisoned must be sent to prison.”
