The High Court of Justice (Commercial Division) in Accra has granted an order for the issuance of a warrant for police assistance to enforce the security rights of Cola Holdings Limited over the No. 1 Oxford Street Hotel property in Accra.

The ruling, delivered on July 21, 2026, follows an application filed under Section 64 of the Borrowers and Lenders Act, 2020 (Act 1052).

The action was brought before the court by Nii Amanor Dodoo, acting as Receiver/Manager of No. 1 Oxford Street Hotel, alongside Cola Holdings Limited, seeking law enforcement support to realise the second applicant’s security rights.

In the suit numbered GJ-CM/MISC/0426/2026, Kensington Residential Partners 1 Limited, located at Osu in Accra, was named as the respondent.

The court order came after consideration of an affidavit sworn by Nii Amanor Dodoo of Allied Heights, Abelemkpe, in support of a Motion on Notice for the Issue of a Warrant for Police Assistance.

During proceedings, legal counsel Tsatsu Tsikata Esq., appearing alongside Tata Kosi Foliba Esq., represented the applicants.

Legal counsel Bobby Banson Esq., appearing alongside Isaac Akyerefi Mensah Esq., represented the respondent and opposed the application.

Presiding Judge Samuel Faraday Johnson granted the order directing the Regional Commander of Police for the Greater Accra Region to provide the necessary assistance to enable the second applicant to enforce its security rights over the property known as No. 1 Oxford Street, Accra.

The official court order was subsequently issued under the seal of the High Court and signed by Registrar Aboagye Da-Costa.
