The Nkawkaw Divisional Police Command in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region has launched a full-scale investigation following the tragic discovery of a decomposing body of a nine-month-old baby boy in a stream near the Krofofrom Timber Market.

Reports suggesting that the infant may have been deliberately drowned and dumped in the stream by his mother have circulated within the area.
