The Nkawkaw Divisional Police Command in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region has launched a full-scale investigation following the tragic discovery of a decomposing body of a nine-month-old baby boy in a stream near the Krofofrom Timber Market.

The grim discovery has sent shockwaves through the local community, sparking intense speculation and fears of foul play. Reports suggesting that the infant may have been deliberately drowned and dumped in the stream by his mother have circulated within the area. However, law enforcement officials have stressed that these claims remain unconfirmed, and no suspects have been formally identified or taken into custody.
