The flagship campaign, dubbed Operation Blackout, is specifically designed to dismantle global scam centres that prey on vulnerable victims.

According to official figures released at the gathering, the initiative has already yielded monumental results, leading to the demolition of more than 20 major scam compounds worldwide.

Law enforcement agencies involved in the coordinated crackdown have successfully seized over 17 billion dollars in illicit assets connected to these criminal networks.

Furthermore, the proactive intelligence measures implemented under the operation have directly shielded more than 11,000 Americans from losing an estimated 675 million dollars to sophisticated financial fraud schemes.

Issuing a stern warning to cyber syndicates operating across international borders, the FBI Chief stressed that criminals can no longer rely on geographical havens to evade justice.

He emphasized that federal authorities remain relentless in tracking down perpetrators regardless of where they attempt to conceal their operations, declaring that law enforcement will ultimately hunt them down and bring them to book.
