President Akufo-Addo has appointed a new Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Fredrick Asare Kwesi Bekoe.
His appointment takes effect today, Thursday, January 26, 2023.
A statement issued and signed by Eugene Arhin, the Director of Communications at the Presidency said, the appointment follows the completion of the tour of duty and subsequent retirement of Air Vice Marshal Frank Hanson.
It said the President expressed his gratitude to the retired Air Marshal for his “dedicated and meritorious service to the Ghana Armed Forces and the nation”.
