President Akufo-Addo has accepted the resignation of Trade and Industry Minister Alan Kyeremanten.
This was after the Minister officially wrote to the president to inform him of his decision to resign.
A statement issued by the Director of Communications at the Presidency Eugene Arhin said, the President thanked the Minister and wished him well.
Meanwhile, the president has asked the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta to act as caretaker Minister until a substantive person is appointed to replace the former Minister.
