The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is holding its parliamentary primary in the Ejisu Constituency to select a Parliamentary Candidate today, Saturday, April 13, 2024.
The primary is being held by the party to elect a candidate to represent in the NPP in the April 30 by-election following the death of the late MP John Kumah which occurred on March 7, 2024.
Nine candidates have been cleared by the NPP to contest the primary.

Meanwhile, the Electoral Commission (EC) has set April 30, 2024, for the by-election.
The EC has pegged the filing fee for the election at GHC10,000.
It will receive nominations from aspiring candidates from April 16 to April 18, 2024.
Interested candidates are to purchase the nomination forms on the official website of the EC starting April 9, 2024.
The 45-year-old MP died after a short illness, leaving behind a wife and six children.
