The Ghana Police Service says it is on a manhunt for a gang of armed robbers who attacked a jewellery shop in broad daylight at Adabraka, a suburb of Accra, on Saturday, 2 November.
Social media was awash with the video of the incident where the armed men attacked a red Toyota Corolla parked near the market.
They were seen taking sacks of money from the red vehicle amidst the firing of guns to scare Pole away.
A statement issued by the police on Saturday (2 November) assured the public the armed robbers will be arrested to face justice.
“The police are on a manhunt for a gang of armed robbers who attacked a jewellery shop at Adabraka in Accra on Saturday, 2nd November , 2024, where one person was injured.”‘
‘We would like to assure the public that we will surely get them and bring them to face justice,” the police statement said.
