We’ll come at the hypocritical pastors, Peace Council, Prof. Adei, and the others like double-edged knives if they criticise Mahama – Sosu

December 26, 2024
sosu eric

A communication team member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Eric Sosu, has advised all the civil society organisations (CSOs), religious leaders, the Pentecostal Council, and the National Peace Council to forever remain silent if President-elect John Dramani Mahama is sworn into office.

According to him, these individuals and bodies failed to criticise outgoing President Akufo-Addo even in the face of the economic hardship and incompetence he displayed as leader.

To him, it would be hypocritical for any of these individuals to criticise President-elect John Dramani Mahama if he officially takes over as president.

In a statement, he said of these individuals that they painted a negative picture of Mr. Mahama, peddled falsehoods about him just to tarnish his image in the past.

He warned the NDC will not spare the hypocrites who criticised Mahama from when he was sworn in as president in 2013 till he was out of office.

He particularly slammed Prof. Stephen Adei for his recent remarks, describing them as coming from a hypocrite.

He questioned him why he never commented on the removal of Mrs. Charlotte Osei as EC Chairperson but has suddenly found his voice in advising Mahama against the removal of Jean Mensa and her deputies.

Prof. Adei, the pastors, CSOs, and Peace Council The Pentecostal Council and other individuals should keep mute when the NDC assumes office on 7th January 2025. We are not going to spare anyone as we spared them in 2014, 2015, and 2016; it will be a thing of the past. Some of the radio presenters who were paid to destroy the image of Mahamah will not be forgiven.”

Meanwhile, he has asked President-elect John Dramani not to interfere when the NPP communicators meet those individuals and groups boot for boot.

“Your Excellency, we are begging you; it’s time we, the grassroots of NDC, let them know where they belong. We are not going to leave any stone unturned. Now we have sharpened our mouths like knives with double edges.”
