Some stores in Bolgatanga, the Upper East Regional Capital, have been destroyed by a fire outbreak.
According to new information, a fire broke out near the stadium traffic light just one week after a nearby restaurant was completely destroyed by fire.
After being sent to the location, Fire Service personnel were able to put out the fire.
However, the officers encountered difficulties due to the incident’s access route.
The epidemic was reported to the media by Fire Service DOll Nibunu Callistus, the Upper East Regional Public Relations Officer.
Additionally, it has been revealed that the fire was allegedly started by a smouldering trash dump near a trike dealer’s store.
“Investigation revealed that there was rubbish that was burnt behind a dealer’s shop and it was not properly done, the fire got into contact with some oil and containers that escalated it.”
