He said Ghanaians have patience, but they do not want to be taken for granted.

Mr. Nkrumah noted that President John Dramani Mahama must take his time, address the challenges confronting us, and avoid taking hasty decisions that will further worsen our plights.

He said Ghanaians are aware of the dire situation and the economic mess created by former President Akufo-Addo and his incompetent government.

To this end, he has proposed to Mr. Mahama to always be truthful to the people.

“President John Dramani Mahama should use communication effectively and efficiently. He should carry Ghanaians along. Ghanaians will not pressure him. Even with the ills and evils former President Akufo-Addo did to us, we entertained and had patience for him, and so Mr. Mahama should not be in a haste in working. He should take his time and put in measures that will address the longstanding problems.

We are all aware of the economic mess the previous government created, but it should not be grounds for President Mahama to make hasty decisions. The most important thing for him to do is to carry Ghanaians along through communication. Give is information. Be honest with us. Do not come and repeat the mess and mistakes of the previous government. They mismanaged the economy and lied to the people. All these things were the reasons we voted the NPP out, and Mahama should not repeat these same mistakes.”
