2018 NSMQ participant graduates from ACM as valedictorian, sweeping best student in medicine, haematology, pharmacology

A member of the 2018 National Science and Maths Quiz Champions from St. Peter’s Senior High School, Dr. Benjamin Fenny graduated from the Accra College of Medicine as the valedictorian, sweeping several awards.

The graduate who was admitted on scholarship by the school won eight awards, including the overall best student in psychiatry, community health, pharmacology, women’s health, medicine, and haematology.

He was also adjudged the overall best male student at the school’s graduation ceremony.

The organisers of the quiz took to its official Facebook page in expressing their excitement.

Congratulations to Dr. Benjamin Fenny, a member of the 2018 NSMQ Champions — St. Peter’s SHS. He was the second recipient of the NSMQ Accra College of Medicine Scholarship and graduated in style as VALEDICTORIAN (Class of 2024)

Benjamin graduated with the following awards:

1. Accra Medical Centre’s Prize for the Overall Best Male Student

2. The Ken and Angela Ofori-Atta Foundation’s Prize for the Overall Best Student in Psychiatry

3. Professor George Dugbartey’s Prize for the Overall Best Student in Pharmacology

4. The Hawkrad Group’s Prize for the Overall Best Student in Anaesthesia

5. Yeboah Hospital’s Prize for the Overall Best Student in Community Health

6. Teddy Konu’s Prize for the Overall Best Student in Medicine

7. Medifem Multi-Specialist Hospital & Fertility Centre’s Prize for the Overall Best Student in Women’s Health

8. MDS-Lancet Laboratories Ghana Limited’s Prize for Overall Best Student in Hematology
