A man and his wife are in the grips of the police for allegedly abusing their nine-year-old daughter at Gomoa Nkwantanan in the Gomoa East Metropolitan Assembly of the Central Region.
The suspects allegedly abused the minor after accusing her of being disobedient.
The wife has been identified as Saviour Atta, 32, and the husband, Bismark Odoi, 35.
The two reportedly chained the victim and abandoned her in a nearby bush.
Reporting the incident on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, Oheneba Ademah said the parents complained that their daughter was stubborn and all efforts to get her to change had proved futile.

It took an intervention of a passerby who saw the minor (name withheld) and sent her to the police station.
The reporter disclosed that the victim was covered in marks with signs of canning.
