The Ashanti Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Baah Acheamfour, has advised the newly confirmed Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) in the region to surround themselves with competent individuals and experts so they will succeed.
He believes this approach will support President John Mahama’s ‘Reset Ghana’ agenda.
Mr. Acheamfour emphasised that identifying areas of limitation and seeking expert opinion would enable the MMDCEs to tap into a wealth of knowledge and experience, leading to more effective governance.
This, he noted, would foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork, enhance decision-making, and ensure that constituent needs are met.
Mr. Acheamfour offered this guidance while celebrating his birthday at the NDC Ashanti Regional office, where staff surprised him with gifts, filling the office with joy and camaraderie.
“I am making an arrangement with the regional chairman to meet with all the MMDCEs. It is important to encourage them to surround themselves with competent and diligent individuals so they will succeed. The NPP messed up the assemblies and looted our resources, and so our MMDCEs must devote themselves to diligent work so that the President’s reset agenda will succeed.
I know the men and women nominated and approved as MMDCEs in Kuansi are the best; they are competent and will not fail in their duties,”he added.
