The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has announced on its social media channels an “Evening with the Special Prosecutor.” This event aims to address questions and concerns the public may have about the office’s work.
The Q&A session is scheduled for June 29, 2025, at 7:00 PM on X Spaces.
In a brief statement, the OSP urged Ghanaians to bring their questions, criticisms, anger, and any other concerns they have regarding the OSP’s activities.

The Special Prosecutor has come under serious scrutiny from critics, with some even demanding that the office be scrapped or the current office holder, Kissi Agyebeng, be removed.
The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) in Ghana is an independent anti-corruption agency. Established in 2018, its mandate is to investigate and prosecute corruption and related offenses, recover proceeds of corruption, and prevent future corruption.
It is a specialized agency vested with investigative, prosecutorial, intelligence-gathering, and even police-like powers.
The OSP operates under the Office of the Special Prosecutor Act, 2017 (Act 959) and its related regulations.
