A road crash at Senya Bonsuoku in the Central Region has left four passengers in critical condition.
The accident occurred around 4 am on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Information available indicates that the accident has also left 15 other passengers injured.
The injured individuals have been transported to the Hope Christian Hospital in Gomoa Fetteh, the Senya Breku Polyclinic, and the Trauma and Specialist Hospital in Winneba for medical care.
The accident involved two sprinter buses with registration numbers AC 894-16 and GR 5137-18 that collided head-on at Bonsuoku on the Gomoa Ojobi-Senya Breku road.
According to the Senya Bereku District Police commander, DSP Kingsley Asante, the preliminary investigation shows that the accident was due to poor weather conditions and lack of concentration, possibly sleep driving, on the part of one of the drivers, as the cause of the accident.
