President John Dramani Mahama has noted that the government is ensuring that development reaches every corner of the country.
He stated this in his address to Ghanaians on the Eid ul Fitr occasion on Friday, March 20, 2026.
In his address to the nation, President Mahama said, ‘We keep making sure development reaches every part of the country. The government can’t do it alone; we need a partnership.”
President Mahama expressed confidence that Ghana will continue to be the shining example of peaceful coexistence, stressing the need for peace.
“Ghana continues to be a shining example of peaceful coexistence. As we participate in each other’s ceremonies, we coexist as one people.
“This harmony is a precious gift, and we must protect it. Let us reject anything that divides us.”
Touching on the Middle East conflict, he said, “May Allah touch the Trump and Middle East leaders to ensure this war comes to an end.”
