The prosecution established that 38-year-old David Kwabena Mensah violated Section 4(b) of the West African Examinations Council Act, 2006, by using a mobile phone to photograph and distribute examination questions via WhatsApp.

Mrs Ruth Ampah was convicted of assisting candidates by dictating answers, an act that breached both Section 20(1) of the Criminal Offences Act and Sections 6 and 9 of the West African Examinations Council Act.

Furthermore, Mrs Millicent Marfo and Mr Kennedy Anokye were found guilty of conspiring to possess examination materials unlawfully at the Twifo Praso Senior High School centre, contrary to Section 23 of the Criminal Offences Act and Section 3 of the West African Examinations Council Act.
