Mussa Dankwah, the Chief Executive Officer of Global Info Analytics, has asserted that surveys and polls are strictly scientific activities rather than spiritual matters.
His comments were in response to a prophet who recently criticized his work, urging the public to disregard the firm’s findings because they do not originate from God.
Speaking on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, the researcher emphasized that surveys and polls are scientific exercises designed to solicit public opinion and should be treated as such.
He argued that God has granted humanity the wisdom to make choices, and that the public expresses these preferences through surveys. He also noted that even biblical principles recognize that the voice of the people reflects the voice of God.
Mussa Dankwah suggested that religious figures whose predictions fail to materialize are simply frustrated when empirical data contradicts their claims.
Addressing the criticism directly, Dankwah stated: “Polls and surveys are not from God. God has given man the wisdom to decide what they want, and that man speaks to me, telling me what they want. The Bible also says that the voice of God is the voice of the people. So why is the pastor fighting me? Our work has become so threatening for some people. Some pastors are giving prophecies to people, but the polls don’t reflect these prophecies, and so they are fighting us.”
The pollster also pointed out that certain media personnel double as campaign team members for politicians.
According to Mussa Dankwah, these individuals attempt to discredit his firm’s research because the empirical findings clash with the projections they provide to their political clients.
Despite the fierce public criticism, Dankwah revealed a stark hypocrisy behind closed doors: many of these same politicians quietly approach his firm to secure copies of the surveys for their own strategic use.
