The Minister for Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, has announced that a revised curriculum for Kindergarten to Junior High School will be submitted to the Ministry of Education this week.
The updated framework incorporates modern and practical disciplines, including coding, artificial intelligence, electronics, and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
Speaking at the Government Accountability Series on Monda, Juky 20, 2026, the Minister explained that these ongoing educational reforms are designed to equip young Ghanaians with market-relevant skills while creating broader pathways into professional careers.
Hon. Iddrisu further disclosed plans to expand access to medical training across the country, citing lessons drawn from recent reforms under the Legal Education Act, 2026.
He stressed that widening access to professional education remains essential to building the workforce required to sustain Ghana’s long-term development agenda.
