The Ghana Police Service has interdicted a Police Inspector for “negligently” leaving his rifles in a commercial vehicle.
A statement issued by the Police said the driver returned the rifle and also alleged that the Police officer extorted money from him.
The Officer, Sulemana is with the Rapid Deployment Force, Takoradi in the Western Region.
He has since been referred to the Police Professional Standards Bureau for an investigation into the matter.
