A 32-year-old woman is accused of stabbing her partner to death in Ayigya Zongo, Oforikrom Municipality, Ashanti Region.
Jennifer Appiah, alias Maa Akua, has been named as the suspect.
After a misunderstanding, she allegedly stabbed the deceased, Joseph Bawa, numerous times to death on Sunday.
Madam Hawa Alhasan, the deceased’s mother, revealed in an interview that her son was confirmed dead upon arriving at the Tech Hospital.
She has requested that the police investigate the manager and bring the perpetrator to justice.
They were at a funeral, she claims when they received a call notifying them of the sad incident.
She stated that the suspect has escaped and that the police are currently looking for her.
“Because the woman accused of killing my son has fled, we are pleading with the police to apprehend her and bring her to justice.” My son’s death has devastated our family. I am in mourning. He was my son, and the lady killed him.”
