The Ghana Police Service has launched an investigation into the shooting of three people at Barniekrom near Mankranso in the Ashanti Region.
The service has identified Osman Majeed as the one who allegedly shot the victims.
A police statement released on July 2, 2024, said it gathered information that the suspect shot the victims, claiming they had come to attack him.
The Service has since visited the scene of the incident and conveyed the bodies of the three deceased persons to the mortuary for preservation and autopsy.
“Exhibits retrieved from the scene include one motorbike, 8 spent cartridges and four cutlasses.
Efforts are underway to locate suspect Osman Majeed who is currently at large,” the Police added.
