At Abuakwa-Abakomadi in the Ashanti Region, a tragic incident occurred involving Bernice Asantewaa, 29, who allegedly stabbed her husband, Kofi Antwi, 35, to death following a dispute over her alleged infidelity.
According to Joseph Acheampong, brother of the deceased, Kofi Antwi had faced marital challenges due to Bernice’s cheating nature. Despite family warnings to end the relationship, Kofi declined.
Before his demise, Kofi Antwi had traveled for business and received threats from Bernice upon his return.
The confrontation escalated into violence, resulting in both parties being stabbed. Sadly, Kofi Antwi died from his injuries. Bernice Asantewaa is currently undergoing treatment at Suntreso Government Hospital, while Kofi Antwi’s body is at Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital’s morgue awaiting autopsy.
