The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has cautioned unsuccessful applicants in the next phase of its recruitment against persons claiming to have the ability to secure their slots.
The GNFS has announced the next phase of its recruitment exercise.
A statement issued by the Service announced that documentation and body selection will start at 9 a.m. today, Monday, November 11, 2024, at the National Fire Training School, James Town, Accra.
It extended well wishes to those who could not make it through the next phase and further encouraged them to try another time.
The service, however, issued a strong caution to the unsuccessful applicants against those who would ask them to pay an amount of money to secure their slots on the ongoing exercise.
“The GNFS wishes all unsuccessful applicants better luck in future opportunities.
The GNFS also cautions unsuccessful applicants and the general public against making payments to anyone claiming they can influence the ongoing recruitment process.”
It assured Ghanaians of a transparent recruitment exercise and has therefore advised the public to report any suspicious activities to the police.
Meanwhile, the GNFS has explained that the exercise is to verify all documents, including academic certificates and birth certificates of selected applicants.
It said the selection process would also examine the applicants physical sustainability.
Persons who would pass this selection process would proceed to go through the medical examination at their own cost, the statement added.
The statement said all selected applications would be given specific instructions for each process or stage of the recruitment exercise.
