Staff at the Passport Head Office are set to receive a special financial boost next week following significant operational improvements and a stellar anti-corruption rating.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, announced the package during an official working visit to the facility. The visit was intended to directly congratulate management and personnel after a recent Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) survey identified the passport administration as the most transformed and least corrupt public institution in the country.
Speaking during the interaction, the Minister commended the workforce for their output and stated that government would maintain its drive towards administrative efficiency, transparency, and public service delivery across all passport operations.
Highlighting the scope of the ongoing institutional overhaul, Hon. Ablakwa laid out key milestones achieved under the sector’s reform program.
“I paid a working visit to the Passport Head Office yesterday to congratulate management and staff for emerging as the most transformed and least corrupt public institution according to the recent Ghana Statistical Service report.
I announced that all passport administration staff will receive a special bonus next week for their impressive output as highlighted by the GSS Survey.
We shall continue with our radical reforms driven by integrity, professionalism, innovation, client satisfaction and excellence.
