President John Dramani Mahama has announced the first set of his ministerial nominations.
Current Majority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has been nominated as Minister-designate for the Ministry of Finance.
John Abdulai Jinapor is nominated as Minister-designate for Energy, while Dominc Ayine is the Attorney General and Minister of Justice designate.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Presidency Communications and signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Acting Spokesperson to the President.
The nominees would be vetted by Parliament’s Appointments Committee and, if approved, sworn in to start their official duties in their respective ministries.
