The Ghana Police Service has apprehended a suspect in connection with the alleged murder of a rival who had reportedly dared his ex-wife.
Malcom Fraizer, also known as Nii Djan, allegedly committed the crime during a violent altercation fueled by a domestic dispute.
He was arrested on July 1, 2025, through an intelligence-led operation conducted by the Ghana Police Service.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the fatal confrontation occurred on April 1, 2025.
According to the police, the suspect confessed to engaging in a physical altercation with the deceased during interrogation.
He also admitted to confronting the deceased after discovering that he had an affair with his ex-wife.
The National Operations Directorate (NOD) Intelligence Unit at the Police Headquarters spearheaded the investigation, utilising digital footprints to locate the suspect’s hideout.
The suspect is currently in police custody, assisting with ongoing investigations.
