The Black Stars of Ghana have qualified for the FIFA World Cup after defeating Comoros in their final qualifying game on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
The team defeated Comoros in the game 1-0 in a home game played at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Senior government officials, the Ghana Football Association President and his executive members, celebrities, and Ghanaians thronged to the stadium to support the team.
Tottenham Hotspur player Mohammed Kudus scored Ghana’s winning goal early in the second half to hand Ghana the crucial win.
This will be the fifth time Ghana will participate in the World Cup.
The Jubilee House, in an official post on Facebook, has commended the team for qualifying.
