Residents of Twifo Esukese Ekyir in the Central Region’s Twifo Henmang Lower Denkyira District are celebrating after killing an ‘evil bat’.
The residents accused the bat of killing people in the neighbourhood.
The cries of the bat at night, according to residents, resulting in the death of a resident due to the demonic spirit it carries.
According to locals, the bat is responsible for at least 1,000 deaths in Twifo Esukese Ekyir.
The residents were successful in getting rid of it after conducting a search.
A 22-year-old hunter shot and killed the ‘evil bat.’ Following that, community leaders poured libation in order for the bat to be burned to ashes.
