Peter Owusu, 59, died tragically when an unfinished building collapsed on him.
According to the information available, the structure collapsed on him while he was driving away an “evil bird” on his building in Kasoa Opeikuma, Awutu Senya East Municipality.
Rainbowradioonline.com learned that the bird always come at 11:00 p.m. and stand on top of their unfinished construction, crying until 4:00 a.m.
To stop the bird, the man reportedly tried to drive it away from the building.
But he failed, and so he climbed the building with the hope of driving the bird away.
However, the building collapsed on him, a situation that led to his untimely death.
In an interview with our reporter, Oheneba Ademah, a neighbour and Kasoa Branch Pastor of Deeper Life Church, Pastor Isaac Opoku Mensah revealed that the deceased wife told him that they were in their room when they heard the alleged evil bird crying around the area of their unfinished building, so her husband first threw stones at the bird, but the bird returned after 10 minutes.
According to Pastor Isaac Mensah, when the bird returned, the man intended to climb the building and sack the bird, but the building collapsed on him.
The man died after he was rushed to Mother and Child Hospital at Kasoa.
